National Finals of the Titration Competition
It was with great excitement that we had a team of three Year 10 students, Bailey Frazer, Will Mackenzie and Connor MacDonald make it into to the Royal Australian Chemistry Institute’s National Titration Competition finals. The finals ran last week and were even more rigorous than the state competition, with the students required to first make primary standards of solutions and use these to complete their titrations. The boys performed very well under the pressure. They will receive the results from the competition in an upcoming Year Level Assembly once they have been released by the Institute, and prizes for their efforts will also be awarded. We look forward to next year’s competition when we hope to get multiple teams through to the nationals!
