Excellent Titration Competition Results
Last term the Science Department held the Royal Australian Chemistry Institute’s (RACI) Titration Competition. I am very pleased to announce that the results are in and pleasingly, Norwood had a team finish within the top 10% of the state teams! Very big congratulations to William Mackenzie, Connor MacDonald and Bailey Frazer, who placed 28th out of 400 teams that competed across Victoria. These students outperformed teams from a large number of schools and were the 5th best performing government school. We wish Will, Connor and Bailey well as they now go on to enter the national competition.
Well done to all of our students who entered the competition, it was a wonderful sight to see so many engaging in this technical chemistry technique. If you are studying Year 10 Advanced Science or VCE Chemistry next year please do consider taking part in this wonderful event.
