College Production

Each year the College runs a musical production; a full-scale production of a well-known musical play. Students can participate in many areas, including acting, singing, dancing, backstage roles, set construction, lighting and make-up.

In 2016 the College production was The Addams Family. It was performed at the Karralyka Theatre to a packed house and was a great success. In August, 2017 our students will be performing Monty Python’s Spamalot, lovingly ripped off from the motion picture Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Rude Frenchmen, Cancan dancers, the Lady of the Lake and her Laker Girls, killer rabbits, catapulting cows, and the somewhat odd Knights who say "Ni" are just part of the adventures and dangers awaiting King Arthur and his knights of the very, very, very, round table in their quest for the Holy Grail.

Interested students are welcome to audition. Bear in mind that a number of characters and roles require only minimal singing so don’t be shy!
